About Me

Cindy-29.jpg

Welcome to my site, Iā€™m glad to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, with over 20 years experience practicing psychotherapy. I have worked with hundreds of people through the healing and change process, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, grief & loss, and trauma. Traditional talk therapy helps untangle many problems, and I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and see if we might be a good fit for your hopes and goals in life.

I have a particular interest in helping people flourish through transitions and changes such as relationship re-evaluation, break-up/separation/divorce, quarterlife and midlife adjustments, career realignment, starting/graduating from college or graduate school, pandemic impact, and coping with chronic illnesses. This includes how our identities and social-cultural forces influence experiences.

In the last several years, I provided Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy at a local neuropsychiatric clinic, and support the use of psychedelics for deeper healing of trauma and childhood wounds. This includes integration of insights that arise during psychedelic journeys to make meaningful changes.

I have been trained in basic EMDR, and welcome using this approach to facilitate deep resolution of trauma.

I see many adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD or suspect they may have ADHD. I enjoy helping clients clarify a possible ADHD diagnosis through testing/assessment as well as problem-solve and implement strategies to manage symptoms.

I am a registered yoga teacher, completing a 200-hour training in Hatha/Vinyasa style. I believe in mindfulness and complementary health practices to support traditional avenues of healing.

I live in Chicago, and am licensed to practice psychology in Illinois. I am also a member of PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) which allows me to practice telehealth in many states across the country.

My cats MariClare and Wilbur sometimes appear during telemental health sessions to say hello.

My pronouns are she/her.
